Esperanto (”the one that hopes”) is the most well-known artificial language in the world, developed as a result of an utopian idea of a universal language which would bring unity and piece to all people in the world. The Esperanto anthem represents the innocence of the idea about the transformation of social values and unity between different cultures and nations, which the artist uses to point out that all revolutions, as well as all utopias, are in advance doomed to failure. The whiteness of the text, barely visible in front of the white wall, as a symbol of disfunctionality and obsoleteness of the language in which it is written, aside from its aesthetic value, points also to the linguistic neutrality of Esperanto.
